We are currently wrapping up our Late Fall Weed-Control Treatment. This is a liquid pre and post-emergent herbicide, which controls winter weeds such as dandelions, henbit, chickweed, and annual bluegrass. Immediate watering is not necessary, but the pre-emergent does need to be watered into the soil at some point in order to be effective.

Fescue lawns were treated with a granular fertilizer and a spot-treatment of liquid post-emergent herbicide. No pre-emergent is applied during fall to fescue lawns in order not to harm new fescue seedlings.

We are also out providing FREE Christmas lights evaluations, and installing displays for many of our customers. If you want to avoid doing the work yourself and would like more information about Christmas light installation this holiday season for your home or business, please contact us and we’ll call you to setup an appointment to evaluation your property for this service.

1.  Communicate with us.

If you experience problems with your lawn, or have too many weeds pop up in between treatments, call us or contact us through our Web site so that we can come out to provide a free service call. You see your lawn every day, and we are only out every 6 weeks on average. We can solve most problems, answer most questions, and make you happy if you call us.

2. Water your lawn consistently and properly.

Turfgrass requires about 1-2” of moisture per week to perform well. During summer especially, Mother Nature does not help much. Water deeply to wet the soil to a depth of 6-8.” Fescue needs more watering during the summer months. Do not water lightly every day.
