Moving right along in construction - the enterior is pretty much done and painted. Everything is white, bright, and looks fantastic! Next week the sod should be put down. We can't wait to start treating this property! It will be the nicest and greenest lawn in the neighborhood!

Much of the construction has been completed, and we are putting on the finishing touches such as base boards, trim, and siding. The kitchen looks really good, and the appliances are ready to be installed!

More of the interior was put together; the insulation on the walls and between cracks in windows and doors. Also, the front overhang for the porch was framed and is coming along nicely. We are almost ready for the sheet rock!

All of the mechanical and electrical has been completed on the house, and we are expecting the inspectors to come by this week and do their part so we can begin with the insulation and drywall.

Saturday we tackled the roof, and all went well. This is moving along nicely, and we are having a blast!

Saturday was awesome - the weather was great and we were able to get more of the framing done including the trusses for the roof. It's coming together nicely!

Well, we got rained out over the weekend, so we were not able to get any work done on the house. We expect to have good weather and a hard work day this coming Saturday, September 20. We'll be sure to take some good pictures and video to keep you up to date!

The wall raising ceremony was a huge success! A big "Thank You" to everyone that came out to get the house started! The exterior walls, and most of the interior walls were put up on Saturday, and we were also able to meet and work alongside the homeowner, Shamika Bell, and her children. Even Big Jake came out!  The foundation has been laid, and we are awaiting the wall raising this Saturday, Sep 6th. Most of our team members will be out all day on Saturday divided into two different shifts to get as much work done as possible. We will also be meeting the homeowner this weekend, so we are excited about that!

 Brad Johnson, President of Lawn America, and Benjamin Allen, Operations Manager for Lawn America, met with Tulsa Habitat for Humanity's staff to finalize details and iron out some specifics on the project in order to set to motion the construction phase of the home building project.
We (Lawn America) have assigned some of the team members on our staff to oversee various aspects of the project and are excited to get started!
