Information and Articles

Okay, so you’re using LawnAmerica and you’ll never have another weed in your lawn, you won’t have to do anything but write us a check, and your lawn is always going to be beautiful. Well—if you believe that, then I’ve got some land in the Oklahoma panhandle I’d like to make you a good deal on!

We’ve been in the lawn care business long enough to know that much of the success of our service depends upon you—the homeowner. We really need your help and cooperation, especially with proper mowing and watering, in order to obtain the best results. In fact, many turfgrass managers and professors will tell you that mowing is the most important cultural practice in growing great turf. There are many things, such as insect and disease problems, which can influence turf. Many of these can be less of a problem with help from homeowners with proper irrigation, and by letting us know promptly when problems occur.

At LawnAmerica, we’re much more than just sprayers!

We are educators first and foremost (in fact, founder Brad Johnson is a former science teacher), and will always supply you with the proper information so that you can better understand how your lawn and landscape functions. And remember, we are also just like farmers growing a crop, and our crop is healthy green grass. Mother Nature sometimes has her way, and problems can occur which none of us can prevent. So be patient, be understanding, and be informed.

Our LawnAmerica University site contains valuable information on cultural practices and pest problems affecting turf. Also, sign up for our monthly e-newsletter, The American Lawn. Each month we have important and timely information on your lawn and landscape, valuable coupons, and information on our services. Click here to sign up...
